Sharps Containers, used for the safe disposal of needles, syringes,scalpel blades and suture cutters by health care professionals and the public to help reduce the risk of injury and infections from sharps.

Made of tough puncture resistant polypropylene, which is leak resistant, has a transparent cap to allow visualization of contents, Cap includes irreversibly locking lid.

Sharps Containers have a maximum fill line to see when container is full.

It is safe to incinerate and environmentally friendly.

They come in single use and reusable and come in a variety of sizes. Available sizes, volumes 500ml, 1litre, 5litre, 7litre, 10litre, 13litre and 20litre (other volumes available on request)

Sharp containers are made of high quality plastic material hence they are suitable as a disposal container for sharp objects such as needles, suture cutters and scalpel blades that are widely used the pharmaceutical or medical facilities (Doctor’s offices, health departments, police stations, fire stations and microbiological laboratories). They come in different shapes namely: square and round shape containers, usually yellow in colour printed in red.

It is imperative to mark sharp containers to ensure safe handling, proper storage and correct disposal. The recommended period for -storage of sharp containers is up to 7-30 days then you can dispose it correctly by following safety procedures.

Our Sharp containers are furnished with clip down lid which further ensures safety handling and proper closure to prevent any unnecessary injury to the personnel using it. The incident where fire can strike back and create a green flame it is when the air hose is fully open and it will course a loud noise form the Bunsen burner as the fire strike, in order to prevent this small or gentle adjustments are required.
